Lakhimpur Kheri Dalit sisters Rape and Murder, complete story

Read in Hindi | The Lakhimpur Kheri of Uttar Pradesh is once again in the news. There has been a ruckus after the bodies of two minor sisters were found hanging from a tree. One was a student of class 7th and the other of class 10th. There is a lot of anger among the local people after the incident. The police are also facing anger. The mother alleged that some boys kidnapped the daughters on bikes, after rape, killed them.

What Police said?

In a press conference, the police informed that the accused first befriended the girls and then killed them after rape. All the accused involved in the murder are friends and are residents of Lalpur. Two accused have confessed to their crime. In this case, the police have taken 6 people into custody.

The girls were not abducted. The accused had taken both the sisters to the field by luring them. The accused forcibly had sex with the girls. They were later killed by strangulation. Along with this, the accused also tried to erase the evidence. A case has been registered under sections 302, 306, and POCSO.

What mother of deceased girls said?

The mother of the deceased girls says, "On Wednesday evening at 4 pm, both my daughters were sitting outside the house. Suddenly two boys came on the bike and forced my two daughters to sit on the bike. I tried to stop them. But a young man riding a bike kicked me and fled with the daughters."

"When I shouted, people ran after them. But they ran away. Even after searching for hours, my daughters were not found. Then came the news that both the girls were found hanging from a tree in a sugarcane field about one and a half kilometers from the village. Boys raped my daughters and hanged them."

What is happening in this case?

Lakhimpur SP Sanjeev Suman gave full details of the action taken on this incident. He told the press conference that the police has started the investigation of the incident seriously. One known and three unknown persons were named in the case. The three persons Junaid, Suhail, and Hafizur Rehman are named in the case. Chotu a guy, who is the neighbor of the deceased introduced girls to Junaid, Suhail, and Hafizur. Six suspects have been arrested in this case. Post-mortem in the presence of the victim's family is underway.
