Ground Report | New Delhi: J&K leaders' meeting with PM Modi ends; PM Narendra Modi's meeting with the leaders of Jammu and Kashmir has ended. The meeting of PM Modi with about 14 leaders of Kashmir lasted for about 3 and half hours. At the beginning of this meeting, the Parliamentary Affairs Minister made a presentation about the development works in Jammu and Kashmir since the abrogation of Article 370. After this PM Narend
People's Conference senior leader Muzaffar Baig said, "We were all in agreement that we must work for democracy and development of J&K. The PM Modi listened very patiently. He was reassuring and responded to all points raised in the meeting."
Responding to the all-party meeting, senior BJP leader Ram Madhav tweeted, "The fact that J&K meeting has gone on for more than three hours is in itself an indication of its success."

About two years after the abrogation of Article 370, these talks have been held with the state leaders on behalf of the central government. Farooq Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti, Omar Abdullah, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Ravindra Raina, Kavindra Gupta, Nirmal Singh, Sajjad Lone, Bhim Singh, and many other leaders attended this meeting led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the PM residence in New Delhi.

In this meeting, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, NSA Ajit Doval, Union Minister Jitendra Singh, Jammu, and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, besides many other officers of the Center were also present (J&K leaders' meeting).
In the midst of the meeting, pictures of PM Modi's meeting with the leaders of Jammu and Kashmir surfaced. All the leaders including Amit Shah, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Mehbooba Mufti, Farooq Abdullah are visible in the pictures. PM is welcoming everyone with folded hands.
