NTA JEE Mains 2021 Exam Date, schedule Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' has made necessary announcements today regarding the dates and complete schedule of JEE (Main) 2021. Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has announced the dates for JEE Main. Engineering admission will be from 23 to 26 February. The candidates can download the application from the website- jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Addressing the students, Nishank said, 'Students will be able to give the examinations of the four sessions through the NTA according to their facilities. The first season will take place from 23 February to 26 February. After this, there will be exams in March, April and May. A large field is empty for you. 

He said there are many opportunities for you. You will get a good chance to improve the marks. In the first attempt, if the candidates get a chance to take the exam then they will know their mistakes. In the second attempt your confidence will increase, mistakes will be less. Your year will be saved from ruin. If you miss one exam, you can take it for the second time.

Nishank said, 'If someone's board exam falls in the month of JEE Main, then he can sit in another session. The best marks will be taken in the exams of the four sessions.

Regarding the pattern of the question paper, Nishank said, 'In consultation with various education boards, the NTA has decided that the question paper will contain 90 questions, in which the student will have to solve only 75 questions. There will be 15 optional questions. Alternative questions will not have negative marking. The merit list will be made on the basis of the best score in all four seasons.

Exam in 13 languages

The JEE Main exam will now be conducted in a total of 13 languages ​​- English, Hindi, Gujarati, Bangla, Assamese, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Oriya, Tamil, Urdu, Telugu, Punjabi. Till now the JEE examination has been conducted in English, Hindi, Gujarati.

Merit list / ranking will be made based on the best NTA score of the students out of the four chances in 2021.In the new paper pattern introduced, there will be no negative marking in the 15 alternative questions. The candidates have to attempt 75 questions out of 90 – or 25 out of questions 30 in each section of Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.

Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal in his tweet informed, “Thank you all for sharing your constructive suggestions regarding JEE (Main) exams. We have got your suggestions examined. I will be announcing the schedule, number of times the exam will be held at 6 PM today. Stay tuned.”
