The case is dated July 18, 2020, where three laborers died in an encounter in the Amshipura encounter. The family called them innocent and said that they are laborers. The army also admitted that the accused had misused their powers. On the other hand, another encounter that took place on 29-30 December 2020 is in doubt. Three youths were killed in this encounter in Srinagar. Family members claim that the killed youth were not terrorists.

The youth who were killed in the alleged encounter were between 16 and 24 years old. The police claimed this encounter was the three terrorists killed, while the family is telling them innocent.
