Ground Report | New Delhi: Isudan Gadhvi AAP leader; Popular Gujarati journalist Isudan Gadhvi joined the Aam Aadmi Party in the presence of party chief Arvind Kejriwal as the Delhi Chief Minister announced that his party will contest all seats in next year's Gujarat Assembly elections.

The Aam Aadmi Party will contest on all 182 seats in the Gujarat Assembly elections next year, party convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced on Monday. Kejriwal is on a one-day visit to Gujarat where he inaugurated the party's state office in Ahmedabad. He is also expected to interact with party workers during his visit. (Isudan Gadhvi AAP leader)

Welcoming Gadhvi to the party, Kejriwal tweeted, "I welcome Shri Isudan Gadhvi ji, a well-known journalist of Gujarat, to the Aam Aadmi Party family. I am sure that Isudan Bhai will join forces with the people of Gujarat to form a part of Gujarat. Will definitely fulfill our dream for you. Gujarat. Now Gujarat will change".

It is generally said by Congress and BJP leaders that people never accepted the third party in Gujarat but now it seems people are trusting the party like a ray of hope as people gather in their general meetings And there are many popular celebrities like Isudan Gadhvi, Mahesh Savani. Praveen Ram, Vijay Suvada, etc. Many more popular faces who have a strong base in their field and a dedicated fan base are joining a party.

AAP has now been added to the 39-year-old journalist's Twitter bio. He tweeted a picture of himself with Kejriwal in Gujarati with the hashtag 'Ab Gujarat Badal Jayega'. AAP leader and Arvind Kejriwal's deputy Manish Sisodia also welcomed Gadhvi into the party.

Sisodia tweeted, "Welcome to the Aam Aadmi Party family, Isudan Gadhvi, the voice of Gujarat and the most popular journalist. Isudan Bhai, your arrival will give new energy to Gujarat and I am sure that the politics of Gujarat will definitely change in the future."

The hugely popular anchor was the former editor of VTV News and the former host of Mahamanthan - a popular debate program in the state. He was the youngest channel head in Gujarati media after taking over VTV News in 2015.
