A space scientist working at the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC), Praveen Maurya alleged that some spies have been coercing and threatening him to share some classified information about the space program.
Praveen Maurya, took to Twitter to shed light on how some spies have been threatening him.
On social media, he wrote
"I was approached by spies to carry out #espionage. It was done in collusion with Kerala Police. Written multiple letters from Chairman #ISRO to Prime Minister but no action. Need an Intelligence inquiry. Kindly help."
Maurya said he is currently working on Gaganyaan, India's first human space mission. A person named Ajikumar Surendran, who he says works for some people in Dubai, approached him for espionage. He promised him a lot of money in exchange for confidential information from ISRO.
Praveen Maurya further alleged that Ajikumar Surendren offered him to become a permanent spy.
Furthermore, he wrote: “IB is ready for a consultation. All they need is an official request from the Department of Space which they are not giving for some reason.

We don't want to happen another false spy case, the Prof. Nambi Narayan cases is the exemplary evidence to it. Interestingly, the issue is happened at the Kerala. As the letter summarizes, it is the false allegation and fabricates case. Unfortunately, organization not taking the responsibility of the issue/concerns occurring and feels there is no mechanism of 'Whistle blower' within the system. Hopefully, the issue must resolve as soon as possible and country must protect Democratic value.
Dude.... first of all, I appreciate your courage for coming up and showing the courage. Your case looks very familiar to Nambi Narayan, the movie that came recently. Govt should understand that State Police are mostly corrupted and a Scientist from ISRO are mostly honest who came through National level entrance examinations. I suggest you keep a hidden recorder with you to collect the proof of who are doing wrong with you. Finally, we all are standing with you.
