Dhar Bus Accident: A major bus accident has occurred at Dhamnot Khalghat in the Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh. A bus full of passengers going from Indore to Maharashtra has fallen in the Narmada river. According to Madhya Pradesh minister Narottam Mishra 12 people dead, 15 were rescued after a Maharashtra Roadways bus going from Indore to Pune falls off Khalghat Sanjay Setu in Dhar district,.
Authorities have identified eight out of 13 bodies of victims who lost their lives in Madhya Pradesh's bus mishap on Monday. Officials said that five of those identified belonged to Maharashtra. Two others have been traced back to Rajasthan and one to Madhya Pradesh. Bus driver and conductor are among those killed in the incident. Their bodies have been recovered.
According to the information received so far, 30 passengers were on this bus. The accident took place on the Narmada bridge built in Khalghat. After receiving the news of this accident, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Pawan Kumar Sharma directed both the collectors to reach the spot.
According to the information, an attempt is being made to pull the bus up from the crane. At the same time, the Indore commissioner and other officers have also left for here.
