Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's office fell victim to the manipulation tactics of a fake social media profile. The fraudulent account, posing as one Prof. N. John Camm, managed to fool CM Yogi's office with a tweet that drew attention for its outlandish praise of him.
The profile in question, named Prof. N John Camm, introduced himself as a resident of Germany. However, its content was predominantly focused on India, Indian Muslims and the general situation in the country.
With suspicious tweets applauding CM Yogi Adityanath, he tweeted "India must send @myogiadityanath to France to control riot situation there and My God, he will do it within 24 hours."
Recognizing the potential fake, the person responsible for operating the profile was revealed to be Narendra Vikramaditya Yadav, who had a history of fraudulent activities and had previously been jailed in Hyderabad for cheating his own employees.
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath's office responded after a fake German professor tweeted, "India must send Yogi Adityanath to France to control riot situation there and My God, he will do it within 24 hours."
"Whenever…law & order situation arises in any part of the globe, the world…yearns for the transformative "Yogi Model" of Law & Order," UP CM's office tweeted.
