Ground Report| News Desk| In Ballabhgarh, Haryana, a girl who got out of college after taking the exam on Monday, was shot dead on an alleged tire. The accused has been arrested around 20 hours after the incident. Police is investigating the case along with questioning of the accused.

The incident of shooting the young woman in broad daylight in Ballabhgarh, Haryana was stirred. The incident happened when the girl exited the college after taking the exam.

In this regard, the father of the victim says that recently we had complained because these people used to harass her and now they have killed my daughter. My daughter went to college for exams. The attacker tried to force her into his car but she refused and he shot my daughter. 

Nikita's father claims that the mother of the accused was pressurizing the daughter to convert for the last two years. She would call Nikita and ask her to convert, which upset the daughter.

Jayveer Rathi, ACP Ballabhgarh said that the incident happened when the victim Nikita came out of college after taking the exam. Initial investigations reveal that the victim knew the accused Taufeeq.

Jaiveer Rathi, ACP, Ballabgarh said, “One of the accused identified as Tausif hailing from Sohna was known to the victim and a complaint against him had been lodged by the victim’s kin a few months ago for harassment and molestation but a compromise had been reached.”

According to the police, a manhunt was launched soon after the incident and both accused Taufeeq and Rehan have been arrested. Both of them were arrested from Mewat, Haryana and is being questioned. A total of 10 teams were deployed to nab the accused.
