Why was NEET PG 2022 Postponed?

Ground Report | New Delhi: Why NEET PG 2022 Postponed; The Union Health Ministry has postponed the post-graduation examination of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET PG 2022 by six to eight weeks. An order issued on Thursday read, "There has been a request from many doctors to postpone the NEET PG-2022 exam date 12.03.22. Because this date is clashing with the counselling of NEET PG 2021. Also, Many interns will not be able to participate in PG counselling till May 2022.

"In view of these facts, the Health Minister has decided to postpone the date of examination by six to eight weeks." The Supreme Court was scheduled to hear the petition for postponement of the examination on Friday. The petition was filed on January 25, but before that, the examination has been postponed.

Students please note that NBE has not yet commented on the postponement of NEET PG 2022. As the orders have just arrived, updates on registration and other dates can be expected in some time. Today 4th February 2022 was also the last date to register for the exam. However, with this announcement, the deadline can be extended or changed.

NEET PG 2022 to be heard in Supreme Court even today. Students not only want to postpone the exam but also want to extend the internship deadline. Updates will be mentioned here as soon as the hearing ends.
