Why is '#BoycottPizzaHut' trending? Here is the whole matter!

Ground Report | New Delhi: Why is #BoycottPizzaHut trending? Quite similar to #HyundaiBoycott, the Pizza Hut came under scrutiny for their social media post. Two days ago, Pizza Hut Pakistan posted a picture on Kashmir Solidarity Day on Instagram which read, "We stand with you! Kashmir Solidarity Day" and the caption reads, "This Kashmir Solidarity Day, let's join hands and unite for the freedom of our Kashmiri brothers and sisters"

In the case of #HyundaiBoycott, on 5 February, the Hyundai Pakistan official Instagram post read: "Let us remember the sacrifice of our Kashmiri brothers and stand in support as they continue the struggle for freedom." The message has received criticism from Indians as affirms 'Pakistan's claim on the disputed region of Kashmir. Social media was soon flooded with messages asking people not to buy cars from the South Korean company.

Now, official page of Pizza Hut in Pakistan posted about the freedom of Kashmir on Instagram.

Later, an official statement from Hyundai Motor India was passed, which was not accepted by the people and it is customary to boycott Hyundai until they apologise.

Another user said "'s pro separatist post! Indians should boycott all brands whose branches are under influence of Pak state-sponsored terrorist propaganda.. We demand an apology from @PizzaHutIN & request @HMOIndia to take stringent action against them!"

After Hyundai, KFC, Pizza Hut has also tweeted in favour of Kashmiri terrorist.

Twitter user wrote "Now, official page of Pizza Hut in Pakistan posted about the freedom of Kashmir on Instagram."
