Who is Satinder Singh, responsible for Murder of Sidhu Moosewala?

Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moosewala were shot in Mansa, Punjab, after which he died. Hours after the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala on Sunday, May 29, Punjab police said Canadian gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's gang was responsible for the attack.

The confirmation by police comes shortly after Canadian-based gangster Satinder Singh, alias Goldy Brar, claimed responsibility for the murder. Brar, a close associate of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, said his unit in Punjab carried out the attack on MooseWala.

"Lawrence Bishnoi's gang is involved in this murder. Fortunately, a member of the gang took responsibility for Canada," Punjab DGP VK Bhawra told the media.

"Today, Moosewala was killed in Punjab, I, Sachin Bishnoi, Lawrence Bishnoi take the responsibility. It's our work. Moosewala's name surfaced in our brother Vikramjit Singh Middukhera and Gurlal Brar's murder, but the Punjab Police did not take any action against him. We also came to know that Moosewala was also involved in the encounter of our associate Ankit Bhadu. Moosewala was working against us. Delhi Police had taken his name but Moosewala used his political power and saved his skin each time," Goldy wrote on his social media post.

Less than 24 hours after the government reduced security for him, Moosewala, 28, with a huge fan base numbering in the millions, was shot dead near his village in Mansa district.

Moosewala was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. The civil surgeon at Mansa hospital said Moosewala was brought in dead, while the other two were transferred to another hospital for treatment.

Who is Sidhu Moosewala?

Born on June 17, 1993, Shubhdeep Singh also known as Sidhu Moosewala, belongs to the village Moose Wala village in Mansa district. Moosewala had millions of fans, and he was popular for his rap.

He studied at the Guru Nanaka Deva College of Engineering in Ludhiana and graduated in electrical engineering in 2016.

Sidhu Musewala’s mother Charanjit Kaur Musa is the sarpanch of the village. During the Sarpanch election, Sidhu Musewala had campaigned a lot for his mother.

After this Sidhu Musewala himself came into politics. He contested from the Mansa assembly seat of Punjab on a Congress ticket but lost.

After graduating from Sidhu, Moosewala moved to Canada to study at a university and released his first song, G Wagon. He started performing live in India in 2018. He has also given successful concerts in Canada. In August 2018, he launched his first song track for the movie “Dollar” for the movie Dakuaan Da Munda.

In June 2019, his concert at the Surrey Music Festival was cancelled due to the violent actions that took place during his past performances of Sidhu. Sidhu is making his debut in the Punjabi film industry with “Yes, I’m a Student” under his own production company, Jatt Life Studios. The film is directed by Tarnwir Singh Jagpal and written by Hill Round.
