Why United Kingdom banned Sex under new COVID-19 rule?

United Kingdom banned Sex: People in united Kingdom (England) are banned from having casual sex with someone from a different household if they are living under in a Tier 2 or tier 3 a spokesperson for Prime Minister Boris Johnson told The Guardian.

Boyfriends and girlfriends will be able to meet outdoors in Tier 2 but are expected to adhere to social distancing rules such as hands, face and space.

According to the new rules, the only way people can meet during the lockdown is if they reside together already or are part of the same ‘support bubble’. With more than half of  population presently living in high and very high-risk zones, many residents fear that sex may be off bounds over the next few months.

According to the new rule, different areas have been divided into three categories Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 based on the number of recorded Covid-19 cases, tier two or tier three areas are not allowed to meet socially with friends or family indoors unless they are part of one household or form a support bubble.

Can you see your partner outside?

Yes, in Tier 2. You may continue to see partners you do not live with outside, including in a garden or other outdoor space.

“So if you live in Tier 2, you leave Tier 2, you should continue to behave under the rules for Tier 2.”

This means someone from a Tier 2, he said, could not leave the area to go to socialise a pub in Tier 1 area.

However it’s also mentioned in new rule that if an adult stays with more members, then they cannot go over to someone else’s household.

A spokesman for PM Boris Johnson stated on Friday, explaining why there was no exemption for “established relationships” in areas designated Tiers Two and Three. “You should mix with your own household only unless you’ve formed a support bubble.”
