Past several days, farmers' organizations of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab have been protesting against the three new agricultural laws of the central government at Tikri, Ghazipur and Singhu border in Delhi. While the police has stepped up the investigation of vehicles on the border as a precaution in view of the farmers' call of Delhi Chalo.
However, apart from the Tikri, Singhu and Ghazipur border, there are no reports of protests from any other border area connecting Delhi with Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. As a precaution, the deployment of security forces has also been strengthened on the Delhi-Gurgaon border.
All India Kisan Federation President Prem Singh Bhangu, who came out after the talks between the farmers' movement representatives and the central government on Tuesday at Vigyan Bhavan, gave this information without any wrap.
The meeting ended unscathed and now representatives of the government and farmers will meet again at 12 noon on Thursday. There has been no break from the meeting, this news was officially given after half past six o'clock in the evening, but the news that came from the Vigyan Bhawan filtering it, indicated this only around five o'clock in the evening.
Supporters of farmer representatives claimed that 'no such name is included in the meeting, who can take a concrete decision'. Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Railway Minister Piyush Goyal were present in this meeting.
