On social media, tweets of Shantisree Dhulipudi has resurfaced. She had tweeted, “the Losers from JNU who have lost control. Ban these extremist Naxal groups from campuses. Stop funding communal campuses like Jamia and St. Stephens.” Co-founder of Alt News Mohammed Zubair shared the screenshot of the viral tweet and wrote, “Also a Godse Bhakt. ‘Godse thought the action was important and identified the solution…..’
After Shantisree Dhulipudi became the first woman vice-chancellor of JNU, her old tweet angered by farmers, Muslims and JNU students has caused much embarrassment to the new JNU vice-chancellor. Twitter users have started pointing out Shantisree Dhulipudi.
Shantisree Dhulipudi in her old tweet said that “sunni islam is radical thanks to wahabi influence. It has problem with modernity, secularism and living peacefully with non-muslims”.
In one of her Tweets, Shantisree wrote “I would agree both Gandhi and Godse, both read Gita and believed and took opposite lessons. Gose thought action was important and identified the solution for a united India in the assassination of one person Mahatma Gandhi”
