Annabelle Ham, a young YouTuber and college student, has tragically passed away at the age of 22, loved ones have confirmed. According to a statement shared on her Instagram page, Annabelle experienced an epileptic event, which she had been valiantly fighting against for a long time. Her family expressed their intention to honour her memory by raising awareness about epilepsy.

Annabelle's impact on those around her was profound. She was an inspiration to her 73,000 Instagram followers and 78,000 YouTube subscribers, sharing her sorority life, beauty tips, vacations, and shopping. Her sisters, Alexandria and Amelia, posted heartfelt tributes, describing her as a shining light and loving presence in her life.

The Kennesaw State University sorority, Beta Zeta, also mourned the loss of her and recognized the remarkable impact Annabelle had on each and every one of her sisters. They fondly recalled her ever-present smile and her ability to bring joy to others.

Who is Annabelle Ham

Annabelle Ham started as a popular social media influencer and YouTuber based in Atlanta, Georgia. She began her journey on social media by creating a YouTube page in May 2014.

Since then, she has gained over 77,000 subscribers and her videos have received over 1.9 million views.

On other social media sites like Instagram, Ham would often post pictures about her life at Kennesaw State University and her travels, garnering a similar following.

What happened to her?

On July 17, 2023, the Alpha Omicron Pi fraternity at Kennesaw State University announced that Ham had suddenly passed away. They confirmed her death in a Facebook post, revealing that she had died two days prior.

The post read, "Annabelle Ham, Beta Zeta (Kennesaw State U), who passed away on July 15, 2023, is being mourned by Alpha Omicron Pi. Everyone who knew her cherished Annabelle as she lived a vibrant life and brought smiles into every situation."

Annabelle's family reaction

"sometimes i don't understand why god does things but, i can't even put into words how hard this is," Amelia began. "you would never think something like this would or could happen to you until it does."

“She struggled with this for a long time and wanted to raise awareness for it, which we will do in honor of her,” they continued before going on to praise their beloved daughter and sister. “Annabelle was beautiful and inspiring and lived life to the fullest. Everyone she met was inspired by her energy and the light inside her soul that shined so bright.

"She was, and will forever be, so so loved. We’re asking for your prayers of peace for her family and friends during this difficult time, and to allow all of us the chance to grieve and work through this as a family. Please don’t post or spread speculation or details that are unfounded. There will be a time to share more details and to go deeper into her life. Her accounts will be used to share what she went through and the joys she brought to all of us. Unnecessary comments only serve to hurt us all, this is a time for remembrance and mourning. Thank you.”

she noted, "There will never be words for how heartbroken my family and I are."

"Annabelle was such a light to the world. A spark-plug," she wrote. "If you knew Annabelle, you loved her and loved being around her. She loved others so well too. Please keep my family in your prayers."

What content did she have on her YouTube?

Ham displayed her bubbly personality often in her YouTube videos. She filled her page with vlogs of her daily life as well as fashion and makeup advice.

Ham posted her last video three weeks before her death, discussing her journey with eyebrow microblading, which is a form of permanent makeup.
