Allegedly, a video shows Union Minister and Madhya Pradesh BJP leader Narendra Singh Tomar's son, Devendra Pratap Singh Tomar, discussing transactions worth crores and this has sparked major controversy just days ahead of state polls. In response to a complaint lodged by Devendra Tomar, who asserts that someone doctored the now-viral video to tarnish his image, authorities have filed a case against an unknown person.

An unknown person now has a case filed against them in response to a complaint. Devendra Pratap Singh Tomar, the Minister's son, lodged an application at the civil line police station in Morena district, alleging that someone is devising a conspiracy against him by manipulating the film.

"I have noticed a viral video falsely propagating that I have made transactions worth crores. Someone has edited this fake video to hatch a conspiracy against me and create a negative impression. People are making fake video clips viral on various social media platforms with the malicious intention of damaging my public image and reputation," wrote Tomar.

He also stated that none of his bank accounts, nor those of his family or anybody linked with it, received any such sum. He absolutely dismissed it as manufactured and fake.

Tomar further demanded a thorough investigation of the alleged plot, identification of the perpetrators, and application of the harshest possible penalty.

Who is Devendra Singh Tomar

Devendra Pratap Singh Tomar is a significant figure in Indian sports and politics. He is the president of the Central India Hockey Association and has been appointed as the associate vice president of the Indian Hockey team1. His contributions to hockey have been recognized with this esteemed position.

In addition to his contributions to hockey, Tomar is also an active politician. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) and has served as a councilor from ward no.7 in the Municipal Corporation of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. He has been elected three times to this position.

Tomar’s educational background is in civil engineering. He has been instrumental in promoting Hockey India’s endeavors and successfully led the organizing committee during the 9th Hockey India Senior Men National Championship 2019 A Division in Gwalior.

However, recently, a video has surfaced online where Devendra Pratap Singh Tomar, son of Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, can be heard discussing transactions worth hundreds of crores. The video has gone viral on social media ahead of the assembly elections1. Tomar has called the video fake and filed a police complaint, alleging that a conspiracy is being hatched against him. The police have opened an investigation and filed a case against an unknown person.
