What is realistic sex doll mistaken for naked corpse on Thai beach?

Sometimes a quiet day at the beach can end up being one of the most surreal for bathers. Every summer thousands of people experience peculiar situations on the shores of the sea. A few days ago it was the turn of those who were enjoying the sun in Bang Saen, in the Thai province of Chon Buri.

Several bathers saw what appeared to be the lifeless body of a woman, almost completely naked, with only a garment covering her head. Given the discovery, they alerted the police to the presence of the body and the panic that had been unleashed, since they had even thought of a possible murder.

Thai police were stunned after responding to a report of a dead body on a beach, only to find it was something far less serious.

The false alarm occurred Thursday after beachgoers saw what they thought was the body of a woman on Bang Saen beach in Thailand's Chon Buri province, Jam Press reported.

Alarmed, they called the police, who arrived to discover that the so-called stiff was actually a hyper-realistic sex doll. The sex accessory, reportedly a Japanese model known as "AV Idol," reportedly costs around $470.

Photos from the scene show the playful flotsam, who is sitting in the waves with his bare butt exposed as a shirt covers his head. Authorities reportedly removed the garment to reveal that the doll had no head, local newspaper Thaiger reported.

A group of beachgoers were horrified after seeing what they thought was a dead body on the shore. Fearing they had found a 'murdered woman', they called the police to the scene.

Soon, paramedics and police officers were on the scene and even prepared to seal off the area with criminal investigation tape. But all the professionals and the panicked group were stunned after discovering that the naked body was nothing more than an abandoned silicone sex doll with hyper-realistic features.

The officers became confused after noticing that the body had a fresh-looking cream complexion. And when one of them squeezed the leg, it turned out to be soft rubber.

Police said the doll may have been dumped into a canal before reaching the sea.

"We believe the doll had been thrown into a river or canal before going into the sea and washing up in the sand. It has now been removed to prevent it from scaring away tourists. If the owner wants his doll back, he can collect it from the rescue team station," police said in a statement.

The Facebook page "Chorb Jang Bang Saen" (I love Bang Saen) posted a photo of the doll online with the caption…

“I already got bored and threw it like that! Remember, you cheeky bastards, the latest marine debris to wash up on this beach is a rubber sex doll. Anything can happen in Bang Saen.”

The sex doll has been removed from the beach. However, Bang Saen officials kept it somewhere "in case its owner wants to retrieve it." They said the owner would need to provide evidence that the doll belongs to them. So far, no one has come forward to claim the doll.

Saen Suk district municipal official Plakorn Khamphrae said the doll made him "uneasy" because Bang Saen is a "famous tourist destination known all over the world". The doll would be better off "in a place hidden from people's view," Plakorn said.
