Shraddha Murder Case timeline: Why Shraddha and Aftab fight?

In the latest update of the gruesome Shraddha murder case that shocked the entire country, it was a fight over who would pay the household expenses that escalated until Aftab Poonawala killed his partner Shraddha Walkar in Delhi’s Mehrauli on May 18 for the night, NDTV reported.

According to the NDTV friends’ report, Shraddha and the couple’s previous owners in Vasai, near Mumbai, said they had regular fights, mainly over suspicions of cheating on each other.

what’s the whole matter

According to the police, in the month of May this year, 27-year-old girl Shraddha Walkar was first killed by Aftab Poonawala and then he cut her into 35 pieces and dumped them in different areas of the forest.

They both used to live together without getting married. Police arrested Aftab and he is being questioned.

During the interrogation, the police also took Aftab to the place where he had dumped the pieces of Shraddha’s body.

In the information provided by the police, it has been said that Shraddha was a resident of Palghar in Maharashtra and that the girl’s family was not happy about this relationship. Due to this, both of them decided to come to Delhi and started living together.

According to the police, Aftab had tried to kill his girlfriend even before May 18. There was an argument between the two about their marriage. Also, there was a fight the day Aftab and his girlfriend were killed.

  • August 2022: Shraddha’s friend Laxman reaches out to her brother after no contact for two months, and Shraddha’s phone keeps going off.
  • August 2022 – Shraddha’s father, Vikas Walkar, approaches the Mumbai Police and files a missing persons case at the Manikpur Police Station.
  • November 2022 – The case is transferred to the Delhi Police. On 8 November, Vikas Madan went to the Mehrauli Police Station to file a complaint. An FIR was registered under section 365 (kidnapping) of the Indian Penal Code.

According to the police, Aftab learned the trick of disposing of Shraddha’s corpse from the ‘Dexter’ series. According to the information, Dexter is an American television series that aired from 2006 to 2013.

The story of this television series revolves around Dexter Morgan, a forensic technician who lives a double life as a serial killer. In this series it is shown that he kills those people whom the law frees.

In front of the police, Aftab told the reason for the murder that Shraddha was pressuring him to get married.
