Since the adult film production and distribution was allegedly being operated by Viaan Industries, the police decided to look into the matter and see if Shilpa has benefited in any way from the money generated in the company. The source also revealed that for this Shilpa's bank accounts will also be probed and the crime branch will also find out how long she served as one of the directors of the company.

Earlier reports also revealed that Crime Branch officials probing the Raj Kundra case are probing CCTV footage on Viaan Industries, in search of the person who collected data from the server hosting the digital content for the apps. removed. Forensic experts will also try to retrieve the deleted data.

Other allegations by police sources also suggest that a huge amount was transferred from a betting company to Kundra's account. The authority will investigate whether the profits earned from the adult film production project were used for betting. Raj Kundra, who was earlier arrested on July 19 for the production and distribution of obscene material, was remanded to police custody till July 23. The custody has been extended till July 27.

Meanwhile, Shilpa Shetty who was yet to be summoned in the Raj Kundra case investigation has also not been a part of her usual shoot assignments in the reality TV show. With the investigation moving towards the new guidelines, we will have to see if the police will contact Shilpa again.
