“Look, you're on set for six months, with someone who's longing to be attracted to you, and you're longing to be attracted to them,” the Peanut Butter Falcon actor said of his time with Fox. “I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our thing, and I think you can see the chemistry on screen."

In a new interview with The Walking Dead star Jon Bernthal on his Real Ones podcast, LaBeouf said, “I screwed up bad. Like crash and burn type s***. I hurt a lot of people, and I am fully aware of that. And I'm going to have to for the rest of my life."

He said he has a "long list of people I need to make up with", admitting that he has "cheated on every woman I've ever been with" and never told his "sex partners about the cold sore". . , which he recognized as "manipulator".

Without naming twigs, he said, “I hurt that woman. And in the process of doing that, I hurt a lot of other people and a lot of people before that woman. She was a pleasure-seeking, selfish, self-centred, dishonest, inconsiderate, and fearful human being.”

The actor added, “When I think about what my life has become, and what it is now, like what my purpose is now… I need to be helpful. And when I look at this #MeToo environment, there aren't a lot of guys taking responsibility."

He said that when his accuser first made allegations against him, he’d wanted to “hit Twitter and be like, ‘Look, I got receipts.’” But he said he now he has realised his accuser is a “saint” and “saved my f***ing life”.

"saved my f****** life". He concluded by adding: "Had she not intervened in my life and not created the avenue for me to experience ego death, I'd either have a really mediocre existence or I'd be dead in full."
