Cabinet meeting held by the Cm

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan held a cabinet meeting today i.e. 14th June, in Bhopal. During the meeting, several important proposals were presented and approved.

According to the statements provided by Narotham Mishra, Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh, in a briefing to the media, below mentioned are the proposals discussed and approved.

Proposals

  1. 9000 students who have secured first rank in the High secondary school examinations in Madhya Pradesh will be provided with scooters.  
  1. The budget to build the Airstrip in Singrauli has been increased from 35 crore to 40 crore. The airstrip is said to be built in PPP mode. Rent will be charged to those using the airstrip
  1. The ban on transfers of IAS and IPS officers has been lifted. This means that the transfer within districts will now be possible from June 15 to 30 in the state. 
  1. The Income limit for the scholarship provided to the SC/ST has been increased from 6 lakh to 8 lakh.
  1. The cooperative policy approved by the cabinet has made MP the first state in the country to do so. Under the Policy, the panchayats are given the freedom to be able to do work up to a budget of 25 lakhs on their own. 

Narotham Mishra stated that “The policy will pave the way for making co-operatives a mass movement in the state. The committees will be formed in new areas and new employment opportunities will also be generated”.

  1. The CM Youth internship for professional development program (CMYIPDP), has been revised in the meeting. It will be now for a duration of 6 months and the monthly stipend provided has been increased from 8000 to 10000 rupees. The Janseva mitras from the program will now be placed at the block level of the panchayat.
  1. 29 “new group tap water schemes” have been approved for the  Public Health Engineering department, with a budget allowance of 15, 995.98 crores.
  1. The prize money for the Medal recipients of the Shaurya Alankar series has been increased. 

The guarantee payment security for Omkareshwar Solar Project has also been given the green signal.
