Duranga vs Flower of Evil
While “Duranga” closely follows the storyline of the original Korean drama “Flower of Evil,” there are some key differences that set them apart. The Hindi adaptation, “Duranga,” lacks the emotional depth and worldbuilding that made “Flower of Evil” so captivating. The original drama skillfully balanced emotional moments with thrilling crime scenes, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats.
"In “Duranga,” the hurried pace rushes the story, and some thrilling moments get lost. Besides, the creators don't pay enough attention to important side characters and their emotional arcs." For example, in “Flower of Evil,” Do Hyun-soo’s sister Hae-su played a significant role, and her backstory added depth to the storyline. However, this aspect is not as well-developed in “Duranga.”
