BJP losing UP after two-phase voting?| OPINION| Two phases of polling have been held in UP, the voting percentage in both the phases has been less as compared to last year. Yogi Adityanath has appealed that people should go to vote as much as possible. Although the current government benefits from a low voting percentage, but the body language of BJP leaders and the confidence of Akhilesh Yadav tells a different story.

Many reporters present on the ground say that BJP is nervous after two phases of polling, the fight is now 50-50. That is, where earlier the BJP seemed to be registering a unilateral victory, now the matter has become a neck-and-neck competition.

The statements of the leaders shows nervousness

Akhilesh Yadav said in Kanpur that Baba Chief Minister is 'Garmi Nikal Denge', we will go out for recruitment in police and other departments. Those who were talking about 'Garmi', became cold in the first phase of the elections. After the second election, he went numb. will become zero in the third phase. Now the public will take out the steam of those who remove the heat.

On the other hand, Yogi Adityanath has once again asked the voters of UP to vote more because it is believed that the voters of BJP are not going to vote. Yogi said that if the BJP government does not return to UP, then its condition will also be like Bengal and Kerala.

So far, polling has been held in 113 out of 403 seats in UP. In this, 92 seats of BJP are at stake, and 17 of SP. When the voter turnout increased by 0.36 percent in 2017 as compared to 2012, the BJP had gained 33 seats. Whereas this time the voting has been less than last time, so there seems to be a situation of doubt. While the voting percentage has increased in the Muslim-dominated Kairana seats, more votes have been cast in Shamli seats. Both the parties are saying that they have made an edge in two phases but it is not possible to say clearly who is actually ahead.

Yogi's chair hanging in the balance

On the other hand, Nitin Gadkari said in Prayagraj that Yogi is the face of the election right now, But MLA and the party will decide who will become CM. This says that the chair of CM yogi is also in danger. The clouds of doubt have started looming.
