Apple’s AI Apps that will change your user experience

Apple, the tech giant renowned for its low-key approach, hosted the highly anticipated Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) yesterday, showcasing a number of groundbreaking innovations. Although the term "AI" was conspicuously absent from the event, Apple introduced several revolutionary features that take advantage of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, which is poised to impact more than 2 billion users worldwide.

Apple’s AI Apps

Among the prominent announcements was the unveiling of Apple's latest iOS 17 app, Journal. Using advanced machine learning techniques, Journal offers users an intuitive way to create a comprehensive journal.

The innovative app automatically curates a collection of personalized content, including music, photos, podcasts, messages, and more, providing users with a rich and meaningful check-in experience.

Apple also addressed the long-standing problem of spam calls with the introduction of Live Voicemail. This feature takes advantage of AI-powered live transcripts to allow users to read voicemail messages in real-time before answering the call. By effectively eliminating unwanted and intrusive spam calls, Apple aims to provide users with a seamless and uninterrupted communication experience.

Immersive faceTime with lifelike

The integration of Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) technology into FaceTime was another significant advance. Apple's Vision Pro headset will now offer users an incredibly accurate digital avatar of their own face during FaceTime calls. Powered by GAN technology, this remarkable feature captures fine facial details, ensuring an immersive and lifelike communication experience.

Voice cloning emerged as another notable advance presented at the event. By leveraging AI, Apple has developed technology capable of cloning an individual's voice. By asking users to read a variety of texts aloud, the AI-powered voice cloning system can accurately replicate their voice in as little as 15 minutes. This advancement has the potential for several applications, including improving voice assistants and enabling more personalized communication experiences.

While Apple made significant strides in the field of AI, rumours circulated at the event suggesting the possible release of an Apple LLM (Long Term Memory) device. Although details remain scant, if true, this breakthrough product could represent a breakthrough in personalized computing and artificial intelligence.
