With the Atlee-directed film Jawan, which is scheduled to hit theaters on September 7, 2023, Shah Rukh Khan is back. In addition to SRK, the movie also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, and Sunil Grover.
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has awarded the action-packed comedy a U/A certification. Its authorized running duration is 169 minutes (2 hours 49 minutes).
The 2023 action movie was Shah Rukh's highest-grossing movie with over 1050 crore at the domestic Jawan Box Office Collection. It also made more than 543 crore.
Manobala Vijayabalan, a film trade analyst, shared this news on Twitter and provided insights into Jawan's exceptional pre-release performance.
He revealed that the film, which stars Shah Rukh Khan, has not only secured a whopping ₹32.47 crore in advance bookings for its opening day in India but has also earned ₹18.70 crore ($2.25 million) from overseas markets.
The producers have determined the release date for "Jawan" on September 7 this year. They will distribute the Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions of the movie internationally. In the movie, Shah Rukh will be paired with South Indian actress Nayanthara.
Sanya Malhotra, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, and Riddhi Dogra will also feature in "Jawan" playing significant parts. At the same time, Deepika Padukone will make a surprise cameo appearance.
Opening day earning of Jawaan (Hindu, Tamil & Telugu)
On its first day abroad, Jawan is likely to generate well over 50 crores. In India, people widely believe that the film will gross 70 crores, which equals a net of 82.6 crores. The global box office collection for Jawan would total 132.6 crores, with 50 crores coming from international markets.

Jawan’s advance sales of its Hindi edition generated a gross revenue of Rs. 12.17 crore according to the trade website up until 5 a.m. on Sunday, September 3.
The sale of over 8,000 tickets in Tamil generated revenue of Rs 12.9 lakh, while the sale of over 7 lakh tickets in Telugu generated revenue of Rs 7.6 lakh. The Hindi IMAX advance ticket sales amount to roughly Rs 78.58 lakh.
Jawan Advance Booking Report
On its opening day, the movie is likely to surpass Rs 40 crore in advance booking receipts. For instance, the National Capital Region (NCR) incurs a cost of $2.26 million, while Mumbai requires $1.52 million, Hyderabad necessitates $1.30 million, Bengaluru entails $1.21 million, Kolkata involves $1.25 million, and Pune amounts to $57.93 thousand.
According to the trade site Sacnilk, the total advance ticket sales for the Hindi-language 2D performances of Jawan currently stand at Rs 12,17,88,221.
In terms of advance reservations, Hindi-language IMAX screenings of Jawan have generated Rs 78,58,239 to date. The main contributors to the advance booking figures in this instance are the National Capital Region or NCR (Rs 32.36 lakh), Mumbai (Rs 23.48 lakh), Bengaluru (Rs 23.65 lakh), Pune (Rs 3.53 lakh), Kolkata (Rs 5.62 lakh), Chennai (Rs 8.68 lakh), Lucknow (Rs 4.46 lakh), and Coimbatore (Rs 3.85 lakh).
