Woman gang-raped, minor son killed in Bihar

A 30 year old woman was allegedly raped after killing her five-year-old son in a village in Bihar's Buxar district. Seven persons allegedly raped woman. One person has been arrested in connection with the incident, while search is on to nab the others, they said.

District SP Neeraj Kumar Singh said that the case has been registered on the basis of the victim's statement. 

One of the accused has been arrested. The attempt to arrest another accused is on. Medical test of the victim has been done.

According to the complaint, the woman had left for some work in the bank along with her son on Saturday. On returning, the search for the mother-son began. During the search, the family found the victim on the banks of the pond around 3 am on Sunday. The body of the child was found in the pond.

Police said that on the way to the hospital, the victim told father about the incident, on the basis of which an FIR has been lodged. The victim is undergoing treatment at Sadar Hospital, where her condition remains stable.

The victim is not in a position to tell anything right now. Along with this, medical reports are also being awaited.

The police is investigating a different way of killing a child after gang rape. Police is also investigating the call details of the accused.

However, Police officials said that the matter is being investigated, the truth will be revealed soon.
