Ground Report | New Delhi: Why Resign Jay Shah is trending; Pakistan has set a new record by defeating the Indian cricket team for the first time in the 29-year World Cup history. India and Pakistan faced each other for the first time in the 50-over World Cup in 1992, and since then, the Pakistani cricket team has lost 12 matches of the 50-over and 20-over World Cups.
Why Resign Jay Shah is trending?
In the 2021 T20 World Cup, Pakistan created history on Sunday and defeated India by 10 wickets. The whole match was one-sided and Pakistan seemed to be making an edge over India on every front.

Bad start for India
Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first. Pakistan's decision proved right when opener Rohit Sharma was dismissed without scoring. Then India's score was just one run. KL Rahul also could not last long and became the second victim of Shaheen Afridi by scoring three runs. Suryakumar Yadav also did not live up to the expectations and could only score 11 runs.

After this Rishabh Pant and Virat Kohli tried to handle the innings. But both the batsmen could not increase the run rate much. Rishabh Pant contributed 39 and Virat Kohli contributed 57 runs.
