Bad start for India

Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first. Pakistan’s decision proved right when opener Rohit Sharma was dismissed without scoring. Then India’s score was just one run. KL Rahul also could not last long and became the second victim of Shaheen Afridi by scoring three runs. Suryakumar Yadav also did not live up to the expectations and could only score 11 runs.

After this Rishabh Pant and Virat Kohli tried to handle the innings. But both the batsmen could not increase the run rate much. Rishabh Pant contributed 39 and Virat Kohli contributed 57 runs.
