Why Inzamam-ul-Haq called Babar Azam better than Virat Kohli

He said, “The best thing I like about him (Babar Azam) is that he has the hunger to score runs and the eagerness to score big every time. I have never seen such hunger in any other player. Another positive thing about him is that he always focuses on the game. I think he is going to break many cricket records.

When asked about the comparison of Babar Azam and Virat Kohli, Inzamam said that both the players have their own peculiarities, ways of batting, and scoring runs. But, he said in praise of Babar Azam, "If you look at the kind of cricket Babar has played so far and compare it with Kohli's first few years, Babar seems a little ahead."

However, he insisted that no questions can be raised on Virat Kohli's performance for India. Both are excellent players.

He said that the pressure of the India-Pakistan match will be a little more on Virat Kohli.

While Inzamam-ul-Haq admitted that India-Pakistan games involve pressure, he feels Kohli will feel it more than his counterpart this time. The 120-Test legend underlined that Kohli would be under a lot of pressure due to his batting and his need to win the ICC title.
