Hindutva group Bajrang Dal said it would not allow comedian Munawwar Farooqui to perform in Mumbai. The comedian is scheduled to perform in Mumbai on 29 October, and 31 October.

Last month, Jwalit Mehta, president of Uttar Gujarat Bajrang Dal, said, “The organizers have arranged shows for the so-called comedian Munawwar Farooqui in different cities of Gujarat. Munawwar Farooqui works to make objectionable remarks against Hindu gods and goddesses. He does these comedy acts to hurt the Hindu faith and the sentiments of Hindus.

Hindus have been tolerant till now and hence they are suffering. However, Bajrang Dal is not tolerant. Bajrang Dal knows as it is. We will not allow even a single Munawwar Farooqui show in Gujarat.
