Ground Report | New Delhi: Baba Ka Dhaba Attempted Suicide; Kanta Prasad, who ran Baba's Dhaba, who became famous overnight through a viral video, was admitted to Safdarjung Hospital on Friday. It is being told that he was under mental stress for the past few days and on Friday he ate sleeping pills.

According to media reports, 'Baba Ka Dhaba fame Kanta Prasad tried to commit suicide by consuming sleeping pills late on Thursday night. It is being told that Baba first drank a lot of alcohol and then ate sleeping pills.

Police said that on Thursday night, the PCR got a call that someone had tried to commit suicide. When the police reached the spot, they saw that it was 80-year-old Kanta Prasad. Kanta's wife Badama Devi told the police that her husband was under stress for the past few days. At the same time, the police say that the reason behind Baba's suicide attempt is not clear yet. The matter is under investigation.

Kanta Prasad was running his Dhaba on the roadside in the Malviya Nagar area of ​​South Delhi. Last year, due to Covid-19, his business was going slow. After this, he narrated the sad story to the world in a video. The video became very viral on social media. 

Kanta Prasad's wife told the police that a few months back, we started a restaurant with donation money, and later, due to paucity of money, we closed it. Then, we came back to our roadside stall but it cost around Rs 1 lakh to set up and run the roadside stall and our income is only around Rs 30,000.

Baba Ka Dhaba Attempted Suicide; Kanta Prasad, made his popularity through a Youtuber named "Gaurav Vasan", but later, Kanta Prasad filed a complaint against the Youtuber for allegedly stealing or stealing money.
