Ground Report | New Delhi: Who was Ritesh Jha behind Sulli Deals; The start of the new year in India has been a difficult one for Muslim women. Pictures of more than 100 Muslim women were posted on an app called 'Bulli Bai' on social media. Last Eid, Muslim women were also bid through an app called 'Sulli Deals'.

The women pictured on 'Bulli Bai' include well-known actress Shabana Azmi, wife of a Delhi High Court judge, several journalists, social activists and politicians. Journalist Ismat Ara is one of the women whose pictures have been posted on 'Billi Bai'. He has lodged a complaint against her in the Delhi Police Cyber ​​Cell.

Photos of Muslim women, especially students, activists, journalists, artists, researchers, etc., were uploaded on 4 July using GitHub on an app called 'Sully Deals' by an unknown group, whose sole purpose is to auction Muslim women.

Who was Ritesh Jha behind Sulli Deals

In real life, he is 23-year-old Ritesh Jha, a resident of DLF Phase 2, Gurugram, who is originally from Bihar.

Jha runs several social media accounts under the name "Liberal Doge" as well as "Secular Doge", whose YouTube channel has 96,000 subscribers. The central character in his YouTube video is a caricature named Maulana, who is represented by a dog wearing a skull cap. Their videos share a common theme: defaming Muslims, dog whistles, and hate speech.

We confirmed that Jha is both a "liberal doge" and a "secular doge", using open source intelligence data reports verified through Jha's contact number. It also gave us his email address which was linked to his Gravatar profile. Jha also gave his UPI ID - secularDoge@UPI - during his Liberal Doge Livestream, which helped us verify his name.

Why he is out of Jail

The Sully deal could have been avoided if action had been taken against the liberal doge who gave ratings to women on YouTube. Ritesh Jha aka Liberal Doge was allowed to come and retweet despite evidence that he had violated a woman, it was awful. He not only came back and promoted Sully deals, he proudly claimed that no one could meet him.
