Who is Tanishka; NEET UG 2022 Topper?

Tanishka Neet UG 2022 Topper: NEET UG 2022, results are out. Believe it or not, the topper is a girl, like in most entrance exams. Tanishka topped the NEET 2022 exam, followed by Delhi’s Vatsa Ashish Batra and Hrishikesh Nagbhushan Gangule from Karnataka.

Interestingly, all the top four candidates scored the same marks, i.e. 715 from 720. But, the National Testing Agency gave the first position to Tanishka. NTA did this through their new tie-breaker policy.

Who is Tanishka?

Tanishka was a student at Allen Career Insitute, Kota. Contrary to the claim, Tanishka is from Narnaul, Haryana. Her father Krishna Kumar is a government teacher, while her mother is a lecturer in a government school. She gives her grandparents credit for her success too. She says, her choice of moving to Kota and study at Allen Career Institute worked well. 

Tanishka, quite literally, is an overachiever. She had given both JEE Mains, and NEET entrance, and scored remarkably in both. She scored 99.50 percentile in JEE, and 99.99 percentile in NEET.

Above this, she scored 98.6% in 12th, and 96% in 10th. This is incredible, and something to appreciate. Maybe, the culture of studies might have helped her achieve this pride-worthy feat.

She wants to pursue medicine, and she wants to help the vulnerable community through her practice.

She says, her parents have been pillars of support, and have helped her during the course of her preparation. The topper said she focused extensively on consistent, and continuous self-studies. 

Tanishka wishes to pursue MBBS from AIIMS, Delhi. Further, she wants to specialise in Cardio, Neuro, and Oncology.

What is NEET 2022?

NEET stands for National Eligibility Entrance Test and is a qualifying exam for MBBS and BDS colleges in India. In 2022, the exam was held on July 17 with 18 lakh 72 thousand 342 students registering for the same. This is the biggest attendance for any exam in India. The exam is conducted by National Testing Agency.

Once, results are out the students will start applying for counselling to get admission in 92 thousand MBBS Seats, and BDS seats. The counselling to start this month itself.
