Who is Pista Meena, why she is trending on Twitter?

Ground Report | New Delhi: Who is Pista Meena; Tribal girl Pista Meena has alleged that she has been denied entry to a nationwide kabaddi tournament despite being adequately qualified for it.

Describing her agony to the District Collector, Pista Meena said that injustice has been done to her. The officials of the Sports Department first said that she has been selected for the state-level competition. Later, a player who has no experience was selected in her place.

Who is Pista Meena

Meena, a native of Hindoli city in the Bundi district of Rajasthan. Pista Meena comes from the tribal community. Despite having so much talent, the selectors chose a player in her place who does not have the experience of playing a single state-level match.

Pista wept while narrating her agony and said that her future was being ruined. Corruption is at its peak in the sports department. People are being chosen who have access to the top. Discrimination is being done against the people belonging to the marginalized sections.
