In the Cyber ​​Crime Wing, a case has been registered against the accused and an investigation has been started. During interrogation, the accused also confessed to sharing videos and photos on the internet by giving wrong colours.

Sania Ashiq had filed a complaint with the Cyber ​​Crime Wing of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) regarding the ongoing defamation campaign against her on social media. She mentioned that she has been the target of harassment, defamation, and blackmail for several months by operating multiple accounts on social media under original and fictitious names.

In her complaint, the politician said the smear campaign began with threatening calls from unknown numbers that would make unsolicited sexual remarks about her and went on to share obscene videos in her name on social media.
