Kamath said, 'I was fooled and I could not understand what kind of confusion could be created by this. Apologies for this.'

Nikhil Kamath, co-founder of stockbroking company Zerodha Broking Ltd is one of the youngest billionaires of India but very few people would know that he started trading at the age of 17 after dropping out of school. Zerodha has told in a regulatory filing that the annual salary of the company's founders Nitin Kamat and Nikhil Kamat will be Rs 100 crore. The company's board has passed a special resolution approving annual salaries of up to Rs 100 crore to Nikhil and Nitin Kamat. His basic salary will be Rs 4.17 crore per month along with incentives and allowances of Rs 4.17 crore. In the financial year 2019-20, the annual package of Mukesh Ambani, the country's richest person, was Rs 15 crore. This mainly includes salary and allowances of Rs 4.36 crore.

After the match ended, the spectators found that Nikhil's Chess.com account was banned for violating the fair-play policy. The news spread like wildfire on Reddit, YouTube and Twitter before Nikhil responded to the fraud allegations.
