Aired last year, the said story revolves around two sisters marrying the wrong groom. How, you may ask? In the good old times, the bride and groom never met before tying the knot and seeing each other for the first time on their wedding night. The sisters, married to two brothers Zain and Farhan, swap husbands.
Faraz, who was to be married to Shiza, ties the knot with Fiza, while Zain marries Shiza in an outright conspiracy. A clip from the said telefilm made it to Twitter and rest assured, tweeps were as confused as we were!
Judwaa is part of the Haqeeqat series, a Pakistani anthology television series consisting of a collection of mixed family stories. Each episode in the series features a different cast and is clearly based on real life situations. It actually happened to someone out there.
Twitter just doesn't have it and the reactions range from unbelievable disbelief to cringeworthy memes. After seeing the clip for the first time we are sure it is all of us.
