Gautam Adani is the richest Jain and the second richest Indian, Gautam Adani, owns the Adani Group, an Indian multinational party based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
A book that narrates the same, Adani's journey, his childhood, and his motivation, among other aspects of her life, will be released in October 2022. Entitled 'Gautam Adani: The Man Who Changed India', the biography of the billionaire is written by business journalist RN Bhaskar, who has long followed Adani's career.

Gautam Adani follows the Jainism religion and he is a member of the Jain International Trade Organization (JITO) as well.
In 2019, members of the Jain community raised the amount to Rs 4.5 crore for the opportunity to perform the last rites of Acharya Jayghoshsuri, gachchadhipati and a noted scholar of Jainism.
“The families of Gautam Adani, Vasant Adani, Manjula Shah, Dhatrika Shah and Deepak Bardoliwala collectively raised Rs 4.5 million for the last rites of the guru. The money will be used to build a smriti mandir in Ambli and the rest will go to various panjrapols in the state,” said a community member.
Born into a Gujarati Jain family of Shantaben and Shantilal Adani who had migrated from the town of Tharad in northern Gujarat in search of a livelihood. Gautam Adani has seven brothers, the eldest being Mansukhbhai Adani. Gautam is married to Priti Adani, who is a dentist and runs the Adani Foundation as a trustee. They have two sons, Karan Adani, who is the elder of the two and is married to Paridhi Shroff, the daughter of Cyril Shroff, arguably the biggest name in corporate law in India, and Jeet Adani is their youngest son.
He got his education from Seth C.N. Vidyalya School in Ahmedabad. Later, he studied at Gujarat University but only until his second year for a Bachelor of Commerce as he dropped out of the university.
At the young age of 18, he went to Mumbai with just a few hundred rupees and worked as a diamond grader at Mahindra Bros. After 2 years, he established his own diamond brokerage team at Zaveri Bazaar. His older brother, Mansukhbhai, bought a plastics unit in Ahmedabad in 1981 and wanted Gautam to run it.
Adani returned to Ahmedabad and this was the start of Adani's journey into global trade as he began importing polyvinyl chloride (PVC) which is a key raw material for the manufacture of plastics.
