First case in Israel

“We are seeing more and more flu-like illnesses among the maternity population, along with coronavirus cases that mainly occur in women who are not vaccinated against Covid-19 and influenza. The disease is basically the same: it is something viral that causes respiratory problems in the upper respiratory tract, "the specialist warned.

The World Health Organization indicated that it is "possible to contract both diseases at the same time", underlining that  "the most effective way to prevent hospitalization for severe Covid-19 and influenza is vaccination"  against both diseases, that are spread out in a similar way.

Unvaccinated people who contract both diseases can suffer severe complications such as pneumonia, acute respiratory distress syndrome, organ failure, heart attacks, inflammation of the heart or brain, strokes, and even death.
