In her tweet, Saina condemned the security breach in Punjab during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Ferozepur.

Saina had recently written about the prime minister's security problem in a post that said: “No nation can claim to be safe if the security of its own prime minister is compromised. I condemn, in the strongest possible words, the cowardly attack on Prime Minister Modi by the anarchists. #BharatStandsWithModi #PMModi ”.

In reaction to his tweet, Siddharth, known for his bold and unabashed views on current affairs, wrote: “Subtle champion of the world … Thank God we have protectors from India. Shame on you #Rihanna”.
