The American television presenter, comedian and actor, Jimmy Kimmel, is once again in the eye of the hurricane for his unwise statements. This time his words have infuriated the BTS ARMY, a K-Pop group that continues to be applauded around the world for songs like 'Butter' or 'Permission to Dance'.

It should be noted that the BTS fandom is one of the most faithful in the music industry today. For this reason, Kimmel's statements have not gone down well.

What did Jimmy Kimmel say about BTS?

TV presenter Jimmy Kimmel made unfortunate statements against the BTS group. It all started when Jimmy Kimmel interviewed actress Ashley Park on his show Jimmy Kimmel live! on the occasion of the Netflix series: 'Emily in Paris'.

In that conversation, Kimmel assured that being a fan of BTS was just as dangerous as getting sick with Covid-19, so one had to worry about getting out of that situation alive.

Of course, this did not go unnoticed by the fandom of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook, who expressed their annoyance against Jimmy Kimmel on social networks.

Jimmy Kimmel spoke about BTS appearing on his show and said, “You sang a BTS song on the show and I wonder what the fallout from something like that is because I know that. We have had BTS on our show and people are absolutely their fans, like they will camp out, and they are probably out in the parking lot, waiting for the next time they come on. They are absolutely crazed for these guys. You have to be careful with an ARMY because they could attack. After this, Ashley said that she is ARMY and Jimmy replied, “Then you won’t get attacked.”
