At age 12, Narayan found an injured peacock. After helping it recover, he decided to devote his life to protecting these beautiful birds.
Karadavad village, where Narayan lives, attracts thousands of peacocks. Over 15,000 peacocks visit more than 40 villages in the area.
Narayan wants to build a shelter for peacocks. It would provide food, water, and medical care for injured or sick birds.
Narayan faces many challenges, including lack of funds and proper facilities. He often travels to Delhi and Bhopal seeking support for his cause.
Narayan has received awards from the Forest Department, Collector, and Red Cross Society for his work in peacock conservation.
Narayan spends his own money to feed and care for peacocks. He needs 3-4 quintals of grains monthly, costing around 3,000 rupees.
Narayan sees serving peacocks as serving God. His life's goal is to ensure peacocks are protected even after he's gone.
