“We can't be a happy nation with unhappy farmers”: Arvind Kejriwal

Says violence on 26 January was unfortunate

Aam Aadmi Party's 9th National Council meeting, Delhi Chief Minister and party convenor Arvind Kejriwal has made a big announcement. Kejriwal has decided that the Aam Aadmi Party will contest elections in 6 states in the next two years.

CM Arvind Kejriwal announced that in the next two years elections will be held in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat. Kejriwal had announced to contest the UP Assembly elections in December 2020 itself. He had said that the Aam Aadmi Party will participate in the assembly elections to be held in 2022.

Kejriwal said that the violence on 26 January was unfortunate, but fake cases are being imposed on farmers.

Kejriwal said that strict action should be taken against the party which is responsible for spreading violence in the country's capital on Republic Day. He should get the harshest punishment, but violence took place that day, because the issues of farmers have not ended, those issues are still intact. 

Kejriwal said that to support the farmers, leave flag, stick, hat at home, become a common citizen and support the farmers.

He said, the farmer of our country is very unhappy, for the last 25 years, about 3.5 lakh farmers committed suicide in the country. 3 The three laws that have come, these laws will be taken away from the farmers and handed over to the capitalists.

Kejriwal further said that the agitation cannot end even today, the country whose farmer is unhappy is not happy. Support non-violence in your area. Whenever you go to support the farmer, leave the stick, flag and cap at home.
