Loksabha Elections Exit Polls 2024 Live

The exit poll results for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections are live. The six-week-long general elections ended as citizens cast their ballots in the final phase on Saturday. The elections, which began on April 19, concluded today with voters in 57 constituencies across eight states and Union Territories. Polling for the remaining 42 assembly constituencies in Odisha was also conducted today. The Election Commission will count the votes on June 4.

The 2024 Lok Sabha elections are a fierce battle between the BJP-led NDA and the Congress-led INDIA bloc. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's NDA alliance aims for a third term, while the INDIA bloc seeks an upset. The election's outcome will have significant implications for the nation's political landscape.

In 2019, exit polls accurately predicted a substantial victory for the BJP. VMR-Times Now forecasted 306 seats for the BJP and 132 for Congress, while IPSOS News 18 predicted 336 seats for the BJP and 82 for Congress. The actual results saw the BJP winning 303 seats and the Congress securing 52 seats. Similarly, the 2014 polls successfully gauged public sentiment, forecasting a strong performance by the BJP-led NDA, which won a majority with 282 seats. However, the 2009 and 2004 elections revealed discrepancies between exit polls and actual results.

As the nation awaits the 2024 Lok Sabha election results, exit polls offer the first glimpse into the potential outcome. Stay tuned for live updates and analysis as we bring you the latest predictions and insights from various pollsters. Will the ruling party maintain its power, or will we witness a significant political shift? Follow our live coverage to find out.

‘INDI Alliance failed’, says PM Modi

"India has voted! A heartfelt thank you to all those who exercised their franchise. Their active participation is the cornerstone of our democracy. Their commitment and dedication ensures that the democratic spirit thrives in our nation. I would also like to specially appreciate India’s Nari Shakti and Yuva Shakti. Their strong presence at the polls is a very encouraging sign," PM Modi said in a tweet."I can say with confidence that the people of India have voted in record numbers to reelect the NDA government. They have seen our track record and the manner in which our work has brought about a qualitative change in the lives of the poor, marginalised and downtrodden. At the same time, they have seen how the reforms in India have propelled India to being the fifth largest global economy. Every scheme of ours has reached the intended beneficiaries without any bias or leakage"."The opportunistic INDI Alliance failed to strike a chord with the voters. They are casteist, communal and corrupt. This alliance, aimed to protect a handful of dynasties, failed to present a futuristic vision for the nation. Through the campaign, they only enhanced their expertise on one thing- Modi bashing. Such regressive politics has been rejected by the people," he added.
