Tribal women sexually harassed in Madhya Pradesh

Ground Report | New Delhi: Tribal women sexually harassed; A video of a girl being abused by a group of youths from the Alirajpur district of Madhya Pradesh has gone viral on social media. In the viral video, some girls were publicly abused and obscene acts were performed.

The video was reportedly recorded at the famous Bhagoria festival organized in Balpur village in the Alirajpur district a couple of days ago. The video shows the girl trying to hide behind a vehicle parked there. In the middle, a young man from the group passing by pounced on the girl and sexually harassed her.

Based on the video, the police are searching for the accused. Along with this, the police also questioned the person who made the video viral. In this case, SP Alirajpur himself came to the village of Walpur and launched an investigation. The SP also claimed to have arrested the accused as soon as possible.

Tribal Army wrote on Twitter "This video is from MP, India. tribal Women are being sexually harassed & assaulted in full public view. This is horrifying. Such women are subjected to this daily because they belong to the oppressed section of the society, Tribal".

In another tweet, Tribal Army wrote "The Indian media, which mourned and mourned the Afghan women day and night a few months ago, does not see the open exploitation of these tribal daughters in Alirajpur, Madhya Pradesh?"

Shortly after, another young man dragged the girl into the group and all the members of the group sexually abused the girl. According to the report, the girl and the boys were from the same village in a neighbouring district of Dhar.

District Superintendent of Police (SP) Alirajpur Manoj Singh said the police became aware of and registered one case. “We have identified some young people. The teams have been deployed and the accused would be arrested soon,” he added.
