In the Seoni area of Madhya Pradesh, two tribals were killed after being beaten by 15-20 people on suspicion of slaughtering cows, police said on Tuesday.
In the present case, the applicant and the Congress of the Opposition Party claimed that the attackers were linked to Bajrang Dal.
The publication with reference to the official reports that a case against 20 people has been initiated in this case so far. The case took place on Monday from 2.30 pm to 3 pm in Simaria under the Kurai police station. A murder case has been opened against six suspects.
Two victims, identified as Sampat Batti and another Dhansa, died when they were taken to the hospital.
Shortly after the incident was reported, a group led by Congressional legislator Arjun Singh Kakodia launched a protest on the Jabalpur-Nagpur highway. Additional SP SK Marawi was quoted as saying: “Two tribals died. It is claimed that 15-20 people reached the victim's house and started beating her, accusing her of slaughtering cows. Two people were taken to the hospital. Another person died on time and suffered minor injuries. A pathological examination has not been performed yet."

Nath said relatives of the deceased and locals say Bajrang Dal was involved in the incident.
