Ground Report | New Delhi: Two low-intensity blasts; There has been a loud mysterious explosion in the technical area of ​​the Jammu Air Force. The Indian Air Force has tweeted on the incident, which states that "Two low-intensity blasts occurred in the technical area of ​​Jammu Air Force Station on Sunday morning. One blast damaged the roof of a building while the other exploded open."

The Air Force has said in another tweet that there was no damage to any material in this incident and investigation is going on with civilian agencies.

It has been told that the blast took place at two o'clock in the night, inside the technical area, which is used by the Indian Air Force.

News agency ANI, quoting sources, has claimed that two drones were used to carry out the blasts. ANI has claimed, quoting sources, that two personnel have suffered minor injuries in this accident.

The agency quoted the Defense Ministry as saying that after the incident, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh spoke to Vice Air Chief, Air Marshal HS Arora. Air Marshal Vikram Singh is reaching Jammu to take stock of the situation.

Meanwhile, The Jammu and Kashmir police claimed to have arrested a man, who was carrying some suspected explosive substance in Narwal area of Jammu.

News agency KNO, quoting sources said that the man hailing from Jammu division was roaming in Narwal area under suspicious conditions after which an operation was launched by the police and the suspect was zeroed in.

"He was detained and a multi-kilogram substance, possibly an explosive substance of improvised nature was recovered from his possession," they said.

They added that the substance was to be used to carry out a major strike in Jammu, which has now been foiled due to timely arrest of the suspect. "Further investigation and searches in the area are going on," they said, adding that the senior officers were monitoring the operation.
