This sequence has not stopped. All attempts to stop it are failing. The security officers are unable to do anything except just convince the parents. There is no lice crawling on the ears of the stones. It was so important that Kashmiris used to allege that Kashmiri youth are being forced to carry guns due to alleged atrocities by security forces.

The increasing attraction of local youth towards militancy had already become a matter of concern for the security forces and now their troubles have increased further after the information came out that the local youth are not crossing the border for training.

They are being trained within Kashmir by the old militants. They are first being tasked to snatch the weapons of the policemen. Authorities have admitted that in most incidents of snatching of weapons from policemen, the hand of the local youth has been found. They are also doing this because due to the tightening of borders, the consignment of arms has almost stopped.
