Ground Report | New Delhi: Top 5 Hackers of the world; Computer hacking is the act of identifying and exploiting the system and network vulnerabilities in order to gain unauthorized access to those systems. Not all hacking is malicious. White hat hackers can work in cyber security or work as software engineers and testers to look for vulnerabilities to fix them. Black hat hackers work with malicious intent. That said, there is a huge gray area populated by political activists and hackers who both wear hats.

Hacking costs companies and consumers trillions of dollars each year. According to CPO Magazine, by 2021, hacking attacks will cost a total of $6 trillion, more than the $2 trillion in damages reported in 2019. Much of the problem of cybercrime stems from the same features of the Internet from which we all benefit. Even the most amateur hackers can easily find all the tools they need online, at virtually no cost.
